drawings may have omissions or errors or difficult to interpret

Daily Reports
Kept by superintendent as a record of day to day activities and conditions on the job site. 
These reports are used for internal reports but helpful in disputes.

Application for Payment
RFP's or Requisition include schedule of values, lien waivers, off site storage certs, any approved changes to contract, clear indication of retainage.

Income projection - schedule of values curve that projects the value of work planned to be invoiced at end of each payment period.

When Construction Goes Wrong!

The picture above is of the W Austin Hotel.  On more than one occasion glass from the towering balconies fell to the street and injured some people.  A lawsuit has been filed against the Hotels operator Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc.  The developer of the hotel has decided to replace more than 1,000 glass panes.
